Tie one on - an intentional mission project

When Dianne visited the school we work closely with in Kežmarok, Slovakia to discuss the curriculum needs they have asked her to consult on, they shared about a new project they were doing with some of their students who are learning to be seamstresses.  Gathering old ties and recycling them into new fashionable clothes!

I admit that I have had more than a few ties which would have been better used in a repurposing project like this.  But since I culled my tie collection before moving to Slovakia, we reached out to a few key individuals and churches to help out with this mission project.  The response has been amazing!

The bounty from Pulaski Heights
With many thanks to Kerry Leeper Block, Dean Allen and their respective churches in South Carolina plus the great folks at Pulaski Heights Baptist Church in Little Rock, Arkansas, we have a mountain of ties ready to be repurposed as an intentional mission project!
